Unwaxed Lemons
You can find unwaxed lemons at Kaufland. They're from Italy, about 5 lei / 500g (the package with 4 lemons in the photo). They're ideal for lemon pasta on Friday 😊 and other recipes that call for lemon zest.
You can use the lemons for:
- Lemon curd
- Lemon parfait
- Chicken with lemon and arugula
- Lemon loaf cake
- Lemon pepper
- Lemon pasta
- Lemons in syrup
- Lemon crinkle cookies
They keep for quite a long time in the refrigerator, but when you feel they're getting soft you can freeze them.
