How about breakfast in bed to pamper your loved ones? We have eggs, cheese, and tomatoes in this recipe - just add a slice of toast, a glass of fresh juice or a cup of coffee, and of course a little flower or something special to delight the eyes as well as the taste buds 😉
Ingredients
1 egg
1 slice feta, about 50g (goat or cow)
1 tomato (or 5 cherry tomatoes)
1 green onion stalk
a little dried oregano
salt, pepper, paprika
a little olive oil

How to prepare baked eggs with feta
- Grease a small, oven-safe bowl with a little olive oil.
- Line the bottom of the bowl with tomato slices and sprinkle with a pinch of oregano.
- On top, place the feta sliced into pieces and sprinkle again with a little oregano and drizzle with a little oil. Sprinkle with finely chopped green onion.
- Crack the egg on top and season with a little salt, paprika (sweet or hot), and pepper.
- Bake the bowl at 220C (425F) for 20 minutes, until the egg white is set but the yolk is crispy on top but soft inside.
- Serve immediately with toast.
