Recipe: Quick Doughnuts

Ingredients

200 g yogurt
1 egg
3 tablespoons sugar
1 packet vanilla sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
150 g flour

Portions: approx. 30 pieces

How to prepare quick doughnuts

  1. Beat the egg with a whisk and then mix in the yogurt.
  2. Add the sugar, vanilla sugar, and baking powder. Mix for 1 minute.
  3. Finally, incorporate the flour all at once, it won't form lumps. Mix well.
  4. Meanwhile, heat plenty of oil in a frying pan. With a teaspoon, take some batter and push it into the hot oil with your finger. Fry until golden on both sides. Be very careful not to burn them, they fry very quickly!
  5. Remove onto paper towels to absorb the grease and serve dusted with sugar and jam. They go best with a slightly tart jam, rosehip is my favorite.
