How to Cut Peppers into Strips, Cubes, or Squares

peppers (bell peppers, kapia, hot peppers)

  1. Cut off the ends of the peppers (stem and tip).
  2. Make a cut along one side, running the full length.
  3. Open the pepper along the cut and flatten it. Depending on the shape, it may crack on the opposite side, but that's okay. Remove the stem and ribs.
  4. The pepper will be lying with the shiny side facing down. Cut lengthwise into strips of your desired thickness.
If you want cubes, cut thin strips, and if you want squares, cut thicker strips. Then cut perpendicular to the strips for cubes or squares.
