Recipe: Baked Chicken Legs with New Potatoes

This is the kind of dish that gives you no trouble: quick and everyone loves it.

Ingredients

10 chicken drumsticks
1 kg small new potatoes
chicken seasoning (Galeo or Fuchs brands work great)
50 ml oil
150 ml water

How to prepare baked chicken legs with new potatoes

  1. Arrange the chicken legs in a single layer in the baking pan. Generously sprinkle chicken seasoning over them.
  2. Wash the new potatoes with a wire scrubber. Place them on top of the chicken legs. Sprinkle seasoning over them as well.
    * if the new potatoes are larger, cut them into cubes; you can also use regular potatoes, peel them and cut into large cubes
  3. Pour the oil all over the pan. Also pour the water, but on one side of the pan so it doesn't "wash off" the seasonings from the meat and potatoes.
  4. Cover the pan with aluminum foil and bake at 240°C for 35 minutes. Remove the foil and leave for another 10 minutes to let the potatoes get crispy.
  5. Serve immediately with a mixed salad.
