Recipe: Homemade Hamburgers

On Sunday, before starting our diet, guess what we did? We stuffed ourselves shamelessly with hamburgers 😋 And we ate them like it was our last meal... judging by how I feel now, it probably was 😊

Ingredients

1 kg ground beef
2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon pepper
2 teaspoons herbes de Provence
8 burger buns
8 slices cheese
coleslaw
tomatoes

How to prepare homemade hamburgers

  1. Knead the meat with all the seasonings. Form 8 patties, making them as flat and thin as possible since they will shrink on the grill. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  2. Grill the hamburgers on a hot grill on both sides, about 5 minutes, until cooked through.
  3. Cut the buns in half and scoop out some of the bread inside. Place a hamburger patty inside, then a slice of cheese, a few spoonfuls of coleslaw, and top with tomato slices.
  4. Serve immediately.
