Recipe: Mashed Potatoes with Goat Cheese

For those who are tired of plain mashed potatoes, I have a trick: add goat cheese. Additionally, using a potato ricer is a great help in achieving a uniform and fine texture.

Ingredients

500g floury potatoes (4 potatoes)
50g butter
50g goat cheese with Provençal herbs (or plain)
125 ml warm milk
salt

Servings: 2

How to prepare mashed potatoes with goat cheese

  1. Boil the potatoes in their skins. Cook until a fork easily pierces them (about 45 minutes).
  2. Peel the hot potatoes (don't let them cool down). Pass them through a potato ricer (see photo 1).
  3. Add salt to taste, the butter and goat cheese cut into cubes and stir with a fork until they are half melted.
  4. Then add the milk in 2-3 batches and mix well. Adjust the salt.
