Cherry Crisp
Simple Recipes Desserts Fruits
Although when my brother saw the bowl he said it looked like schnitzel crust, after tasting it he took back his words 😉 and I didn't hear from him until he finished.
The combination of brown sugar, muesli, nuts, cinnamon, and meaty cherries is amazing. I could eat any dessert containing cinnamon anytime. And the beautiful part is that this dessert can be made with absolutely any fruits or fruit combinations.
Ingredients
600g cherries
3 tablespoons sugar
1 tablespoon rum (or 1 rum extract)
2 heaping teaspoons cornstarch
Topping
80g butter
50g flour (I used whole wheat)
100g brown sugar (or white)
2 tablespoons muesli
2 tablespoons walnuts chopped with a knife
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon cardamom (optional)
Servings: 3
