Clarus Sparkling Wine by Balla Geza
With New Year's Eve approaching, I'm recommending a very good sparkling wine - my favorite of the year. Clarus (formerly Signum) was the sparkling wine that accompanied me all summer, including on my vacation in Greece (3 bottles!). Well chilled, it was wonderful. I'll be ending this year with it too.
How to prepare clarus sparkling wine by balla geza
- Clarus 2013 - produced by Balla Geza in Minis (Arad county). It is a brut sparkling wine, traditionally produced from Mustoasa de Maderat (an old Romanian grape variety), bottle-fermented. Alcohol 13%
- Frizzy - produced by Balla Geza. This is a frizzante-style wine for a smaller budget. It's fresh, pleasant, and very... frizzy. The difference is that this one has added carbon dioxide, hence the lower price.
