Dried Plums Stuffed with Walnuts

My, what a successful combination! Why have I been eating dried plums plain until now?
Ingredients
pitted dried plums
walnut halves
200g sour cream
1 packet vanilla sugar (bourbon)
1 tablespoon sugar
a little cinnamon for decorating
How to prepare dried plums stuffed with walnuts
- Place the plums in a bowl and cover with hot water. Let them rehydrate for about 30 minutes. Drain and pat dry with paper towels.
- Insert 1/2 or 1/4 walnut half into each plum (depending on how big the plum is). It's recommended to do this at least a few hours before serving so the walnuts have time to soften a bit.
- Mix the sour cream with sugar until the sugar is completely dissolved.
- In small glass cups, put a layer of cream, then a few plums, another layer of cream, more plums, and finish with cream on top.
- Sprinkle with, what else but cinnamon.
