Recipe: Earl Grey Panna Cotta

A refined dessert for tea lovers! A different way to serve 5 o'clock tea 😉

Ingredients

200ml heavy cream
100ml milk
30g sugar
1 heaping teaspoon Earl Grey tea (or 1 tea bag)
1/3 packet unflavored gelatin (3g)
toasted pistachios for garnish

How to prepare earl grey panna cotta

  1. Put the cream with sugar in a small saucepan and bring to a boil. After the sugar melts, add the tea and bring to a boil once more. Cover with a lid and let it infuse for 5 minutes.
  2. Meanwhile, soak the gelatin in the milk.
  3. Strain the flavored cream. Pour the milk with gelatin over it and stir well for 1 minute.
  4. Let the mixture cool (stirring it several times during this time). Then portion into two teacups and refrigerate for at least 4 hours until set.
  5. Serve the panna cotta chilled, sprinkled with toasted and finely chopped pistachios.
