Hot, creamy, and aromatic! I like it exactly as in the recipe below, but the flavors can vary. If you don't like coffee, you can replace it with a little cinnamon, cardamom, or grated orange zest.
Ingredients
350ml milk
4-6 teaspoons cornstarch
100g white chocolate
2 level teaspoons instant coffee
2 pinches nutmeg
1-2 packets vanilla sugar (or a little vanilla extract)
a little cocoa or grated chocolate (for decoration)
Servings: 2
How to prepare hot white chocolate
- Put the chocolate (grated on the large holes), coffee, vanilla, and nutmeg in the blender.
* White chocolate is quite sweet, and in my opinion, no extra sugar is needed, so I only used vanilla extract. But if you prefer very sweet desserts, use vanilla sugar. - Mix the milk with the cornstarch and cook on low heat, stirring frequently, until the milk begins to thicken slightly. This takes about 5 minutes.
* Use 4 teaspoons of cornstarch if you want a lightly creamy chocolate and 6 teaspoons if you want a thicker, more viscous drink. - Pour the hot milk into the blender and blend everything for about 1 minute.
- Pour into 2 cups and dust with a little cocoa or grate some chocolate on top. Serve immediately!
