Recipe: Latte Royal

Frothy milk with the aroma of winter. It is a pleasant way (hence the fancy name 😋) to drink a glass of milk.

Ingredients

Latte

1 cup milk

Gingerbread Syrup

150g sugar
150 ml water
2 level teaspoons gingerbread spice

Gingerbread Spice

2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
1 tablespoon ginger powder
1 1/2 teaspoons ground allspice
1 1/2 teaspoons ground cloves
3/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg

How to prepare latte royal

  1. Spice mix: mix all the ingredients and store in a small jar.
    * the spice mix can also be used for apple cakes, nut cakes, pumpkin pie, cookies, etc.
  2. Syrup: put the sugar and water to boil. Boil for 4 minutes from when it starts boiling across the entire surface.
  3. Add 2 teaspoons of the spice mix, stir quickly, and let it boil for 1 more minute.
  4. Pour the syrup into a jar. Once cooled, store in the refrigerator.
  5. Latte: put the milk in a blender and blend for 30 seconds at maximum speed. The milk will become frothy, like for a cappuccino.
  6. Pour a tablespoon of syrup into a glass/cup. If desired, you can add a shot of espresso now. Add the frothy milk. Sprinkle a little gingerbread spice on top.
  7. Serve immediately. Stir before drinking.
