I don't think there's a "lazier" dessert than this. You just layer the ingredients alternately and bake. That's it, and it looks incredibly good after being cut, and the taste... it really is magical. From what I understand, the "Magic Cookie Bars" dessert was created by a condensed milk company. They were probably American, only they could make something so simple.
I hope these little treats will sweeten your weekend too. 😊
Ingredients
110g melted butter
140g crushed biscuits (like breadcrumbs)
65g shredded coconut
170g chocolate chips or flakes
100g chopped walnuts (not ground!)
400ml condensed milk
Pieces: 16
How to prepare magic cookie bars
- In a 20 x 20 cm (8 x 8 inch) pan, place all the ingredients in layers, in the order given in the recipe. To make the layers come out better, you can level them with the back of a fork.
- Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 35 minutes.
- Let it cool completely, then you can cut it into squares. Store in the refrigerator.
