Rice with Vegetables

Radu's recipe. He was so happy yesterday when he found out I was posting it on the site!
I've attached photos of the rice and vegetables he uses. I prefer these vegetables because they don't contain peppers (of course!), but they have cauliflower and mushrooms, so they're tasty. However, you can use any combination that catches your eye, the selection is plentiful.
Ingredients
120g basmati rice
350g assorted frozen vegetables (I use a mix of mushrooms, cauliflower, corn, carrot and peas)
1 tablespoon butter
salt, pepper
How to prepare rice with vegetables
- Cook the rice in salted water according to the package instructions.
- Heat the butter in a pan and add the frozen vegetables. Sauté over medium heat, stirring frequently, for about 5 minutes. Check that the vegetables are thawed and hot. Season with salt to taste and 2 pinches of pepper.
- Add the drained rice over the vegetables and mix together.
