Caramelized Onion Dip

The sweet caramelized onion is balanced by the tangy yogurt. And both go wonderfully with potato chips.
Ingredients
200g yogurt
100g sour cream
1 teaspoon ground onion flakes
1 pinch granulated garlic
2 large onions
2 tablespoons oil
salt, pepper
How to prepare caramelized onion dip
- Chop the onion and sauté it in hot oil. Reduce the heat to low and let the onion caramelize for 35 minutes. Stir occasionally. When it's golden-brown, turn off the heat. Transfer the onion to another dish and let it cool.
- Mix the yogurt with the sour cream, garlic, and onion flakes.
- Add the caramelized onion (reserving one tablespoon for garnish). Season the dip with salt and pepper.
- Put the dip in a bowl and sprinkle the reserved caramelized onion on top.
- Serve with potato chips.
