Garlic Chicken Wings

Garlic doesn't protect us from the new virus, but we Romanians love it a lot. So I used a double dose of garlic.
During this period of isolation, it seems practical to have spices stocked at home. They keep well for a long time and will save you from monotony when cooking with limited, preserved ingredients... certainly not as fresh as we're used to.
Ingredients
1kg chicken wings (cut into segments, tips not used; I prefer to buy them already cut)
1 teaspoon granulated garlic (dehydrated)
1/4 teaspoon chili flakes
1/4 teaspoon coarsely ground black pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 garlic cloves
35g butter (1/2 tablespoon, by eye)
5 sprigs parsley
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 tablespoon oil
150g short pasta or orzo

How to prepare garlic chicken wings
- Sprinkle the wings with seasonings (granulated garlic, pepper, salt, chili) and then pour the oil. Massage to coat evenly.
- Place in the baking tray, spaced apart from each other and bake at 220C (425F) for 35 minutes (if you have an extra-browning setting, use it, they'll brown more nicely; if not, use top-bottom heat). About halfway through, check the wings and when they've released fat in the tray, brush them with the released fat using a silicone brush. You'll already smell their divine, garlicky aroma...
- Meanwhile, cook the pasta according to package instructions.
- When the wings are done (check one to make sure it's cooked to the bone) and browned, remove the tray from the oven. Add the butter, crushed garlic, lemon juice and chopped parsley. Mix to coat the wings until the butter is completely melted and you smell a pleasant garlic aroma (it will cook lightly from the tray's heat).
- Transfer the wings to a large plate, leaving the sauce in the tray.
- Add the drained pasta to the sauce remaining in the tray and mix thoroughly. Taste for salt.
- Put the pasta on a platter and place the wings on top. Serve immediately, they're delicious and super garlicky.
