Recipe: Teriyaki Chicken Wings

If you liked my sauce from yesterday, you can try making these glazed wings with it, they're really good.

Ingredients

10 chicken wings
a small cup of teriyaki sauce (can also be store-bought, add sesame seeds to it)
salt, pepper

How to prepare teriyaki chicken wings

  1. Wash the wings and pat them dry well with paper towels. Season with salt and pepper.
  2. Arrange them in a single layer in a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Bake at 220°C for 20 minutes.
  3. Brush the wings with teriyaki sauce using a silicone brush. Bake for another 10 minutes, then brush the wings with sauce again. Bake for another 10 minutes.
    * if you're preparing them on a charcoal grill, brush the wings frequently and flip them each time so they glaze on both sides
  4. Turn on the oven broiler for 1-2 minutes so the wings become slightly crispy.
    * skip this step if you're using a charcoal grill
  5. Serve immediately with rice or vegetable noodles and a bowl of teriyaki sauce as a dip for those who want to taste more of its flavor.
