Issa Rosé Wine

I am delighted to propose a wine from a winery near Cluj, more precisely from Turda. The vineyards of La Salina winery are right on the hills above the Turda Salt Mine. I visited them last autumn during the harvest. They also built a restaurant with a guesthouse on the hill, so there's plenty to do in the area: visit the salt mine, taste the wines and traditional Turda food (especially the famous Turda roast!), take long walks (or runs, you need them after Turda roast 😉 ) on the surrounding hills and through the Turda Gorge.

The winery's vineyards are young, yet their wines were already pleasant and fresh last year when they officially opened the winery. I was very pleased to learn that good wine can be made in our area.

The name Issa comes from Potaissa, the ancient name of Turda.
