Pork Knuckle with Beer
Ingredients
1 pork knuckle (preferably smoked), approx. 1 kg
whole peppercorns
7 garlic cloves
salt, pepper, paprika, dried thyme
1 cup of beer
How to prepare pork knuckle with beer
- Place the pork knuckle, peppercorns, and 4 whole garlic cloves in a pressure cooker. Cover with water and cook for about 45 minutes.
- Remove and rub well with seasonings, then place in an oven-safe dish.
- Pour 1 cup of the broth the knuckle was cooked in, the beer, and 3 crushed garlic cloves into the dish.
- Bake covered for 45 minutes. Then continue uncovered for 15 minutes, basting occasionally with the sauce from the pan.
