How to prepare creamy oatmeal pudding with apples
- In a small pot, add the oat flakes, flaxseeds, and milk. Bring to a boil and cook over medium-low heat until the mixture thickens, stirring occasionally. This will take about 5 minutes.
- While the pudding is cooking, blend 1 apple cut into pieces with the yogurt in a food processor until you have a cream.
- When the pudding is ready, remove the pot from heat and add the honey, cinnamon, and apple yogurt. Mix well.
- Cut the remaining apple into small cubes. Grease a small pan with a little butter, as for pancakes. Add the cubes and sauté, stirring frequently, for 3 minutes, until the apple softens, the cubes become translucent, and the butter smells pleasant and sweet. Add a little cinnamon and sauté for another 30 seconds.
- Divide the pudding into two small bowls. Distribute the apple cubes over the pudding. Dust with cinnamon and if desired, drizzle 1/2 teaspoon of honey over the apples.
