Recipe: Greek Salad

It's so simple to make a good Greek salad! Just fresh vegetables from the market, creamy feta, and quality olive oil is a must. I confess this is what I had for dinner all week.

Ingredients

1 tomato
2 small cucumbers
1 small red onion (about 20g)
1 tablespoon pitted olives
1 slice feta (goat cheese)
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon lemon juice
sea salt
dried oregano

How to prepare greek salad

  1. Cut the tomato and cucumbers into larger pieces. Place in a bowl. Cut the onion into rounds or thin slices. Add to the bowl. Add the olives cut into slices or rounds. Sprinkle with a little salt. Toss everything very gently.
  2. In a small cup, mix the oil with the lemon juice and 1/2 teaspoon oregano and pour over the salad.
  3. Place a slice of feta on top, as thick as you like. Sprinkle some oregano on it and drizzle with a little olive oil. Decorate with olive slices and parsley.
