Soup in a Bread Bowl
An interesting way to serve the delicious Transylvanian bean soup. If you don't have the patience to make it at home, when passing through Sighisoara stop at Hotel Rex, they will serve you a homestyle bean soup.

How to prepare soup in a bread bowl
- The easiest way to make the bread rolls is in a bread machine, they come out square and have a perfect size for serving soup. Or you can prepare them in the oven in a tall round baking dish.
- Cut a lid from the bread rolls, scoop out the inside and pour hot bean soup inside.
- Put the lid back on, the soup will stay hot, and the bread will soften.
