This recipe is inspired by https://www.instructables.com/id/Pork-Ribs/, where you can watch a video - the only difference is they make them on the grill.
Ingredients
800g pork ribs
1 bottle Heinz BBQ sauce (180g/bottle)
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon mustard
300 ml beer
2 bay leaves
1 hot pepper
1 onion
4 garlic cloves
1 teaspoon peppercorns
How to prepare spicy pork ribs
- Place the washed and dried ribs in a heat-resistant dish. Scatter between them the sliced hot pepper, onion cut into quarters, garlic cloves, bay leaves and peppercorns.
- Mix the beer with BBQ sauce, mustard and soy sauce in a cup. Pour over the ribs. Cover the dish with foil and bake at 200°C for about 1.5 hours.
*If you're not serving them right away, you can keep them in the sauce in the refrigerator even for a day.
* Recently, when I made ribs again, I just boiled them in beer without BBQ sauce and they came out just as good. - When you decide to serve them, remove them from the sauce, place in a baking tray and brush both sides with a tablespoon of BBQ sauce each.
* You can reuse the sauce left in the dish; I did this: I sautéed some mushrooms and when they softened, I poured the sauce over them and let it simmer for a few more minutes; I served it over gnocchi. - Bake at 200°C for 40 minutes, turning them occasionally and brushing with the sauce they cooked in.
* You can also grill them.
