Appetizers Simple Recipes Cheese Grilling Recipes
A little idea for the work/school lunch box. And soon, great for putting in a picnic basket.
The recipe is adapted from here.
Ingredients
1 baguette
250g cream cheese (Philadelphia type)
150g goat cheese
50g spicy salami
10 green olives stuffed with peppers
4 sun-dried tomatoes (in oil)
black pepper
How to prepare cheese-stuffed baguette
- Mix the cheeses well until slightly softened.
- Add the salami, olives and tomatoes, all finely chopped with a knife.
- Season with pepper to taste and salt only if necessary.
- Cut 2 pieces of baguette, 15 cm each (it's easier to work with shorter pieces). Hollow out the soft bread from each piece.
- Place the baguette cut-side down on aluminum foil. Fill with the cheese mixture using a teaspoon, pressing well so no gaps remain.
- Wrap the baguette pieces in aluminum foil and refrigerate for a few hours.
- Slice and serve.
