Chicken with Roasted Quinces
Chicken Simple Recipes Meat Dishes Fruits
A very simple recipe, but quinces (especially roasted) are so delicious - please take advantage of their season and enjoy them in abundance. To prepare them, I used a steam grill pan. You can see what it looks like in the photos, I'm sure you know it.
Quinces are among the most aromatic fruits of autumn. These fruits stand out not only for their special aroma, but also for their abundance of B vitamins, vitamins C, E, PP, and minerals (calcium, magnesium, potassium, iron). In autumn, a quince treatment helps strengthen immunity before the cold season. This treatment involves consuming two to three quinces daily, in addition to your regular diet. This way we prevent respiratory infections. Quinces are also known for their anti-inflammatory, astringent, analgesic, emollient, digestive, diuretic, expectorant, and tonic properties. A quince treatment stimulates appetite and can help prevent anemia.
And you can place a few around the house - they smell so lovely 😊
Ingredients
6 chicken legs
3 quinces
salt, pepper
Servings: 3
How to prepare chicken with roasted quinces
- Season the chicken legs with salt and plenty of pepper. Place them on the steam grill pan (the one with a hole in the middle, where you put water around the edge).
- Slice the quinces and arrange them among the chicken legs.
- Cover the pan and cook over medium heat for 40 minutes, until the legs are golden. If the quinces cook faster, remove them to a plate and let the chicken continue cooking. Serve immediately.
