Recipe: Sesame Chicken

This is my husband's favorite dish. I'm lucky, right? I can make up for any mistake in 15 minutes. That's how long it takes to prepare this delicious Chinese-style dish.

Ingredients

500 g chicken breast, cubed or sliced into strips
2 bell peppers, sliced (one yellow, one red for appearance)
1 small onion, finely chopped
50 g sesame seeds
2-3 green onion stalks
salt, pepper
1 tablespoon soy sauce
2 tablespoons oyster sauce (optional)
2 tablespoons oil
a few drops of sesame oil (optional)

How to prepare sesame chicken

  1. Put the oil and onion in a large pan and let it cook for 1 minute until softened. Then add the peppers and 25g sesame seeds and sauté until the peppers soften. Stir continuously.
  2. Add the chicken cubes and fry until the meat is cooked through.
  3. Then add the soy sauce, oyster sauce, and remaining sesame seeds and let it fry for another minute. Season with salt and pepper, add a little chili.
  4. Turn off the heat and add the green onion sliced into rounds and the sesame oil. Mix and serve with rice.
