Recipe: Herb Butter

It's a very easy combination to make but with great effect. It goes very well with boiled potatoes, roasted corn, or pork or beef grills.

Ingredients

150 g butter
3-4 sprigs parsley
2 sprigs thyme
2 sprigs dill (or 1 sprig rosemary)

How to prepare herb butter

  1. Finely chop the herbs.
  2. If the butter is cold, put it in a bag and press it with a rolling pin several times, turning it on all sides until it's soft. If it's at room temperature, skip this step.
  3. Put the butter in a bowl and work it a bit more. If it releases water, drain it.
  4. Add the herbs and mix well.
  5. Place the herb butter on plastic wrap, roll it into a log shape and refrigerate until ready to use. If you're in a hurry, you can put it in the freezer; in 15 minutes it will be ready to use. When using, cut slices from it.
