Recipe: Mango Lassi

For the New Year's Eve meal, I suggest a healthy and aromatic drink of Indian origin that will delight ladies and children especially.

Ingredients

1 can of mango slices in syrup (425g)
330 ml drinking yogurt
1 pinch of ground ginger (very little; optional)

Servings: 2

How to prepare mango lassi

  1. Blend the entire can of mango including the syrup with the yogurt in a blender until frothy.
  2. If desired, add a little ginger. Taste the lassi and if you want it sweeter, add a little honey or vanilla sugar.
  3. Serve decorated with crushed pistachios or mint leaves. In their absence, I drew a... nebula 😉 with a little water mixed with turmeric.
