Tzatziki
Ingredients
1 long cucumber (or 3 small ones)
200g Greek yogurt (or sour cream)
2 garlic cloves (or more, to taste)
2-3 tablespoons quality olive oil
a few sprigs of dill
salt
How to prepare tzatziki
- Grate the cucumber, squeeze it very well with your fist to remove the water (or in cheesecloth) and mix with yogurt, crushed garlic, olive oil and chopped dill.
- Add salt to taste.
- It works well as a sauce for various dishes (for example chicken quesadilla or Greek quesadilla, alongside roasted cauliflower) and salads, or can be served simply on toasted bread.
