Ingredients
250g peanut butter (or butter from any type of nuts, homemade or store-bought)
8 tablespoons sugar
1 egg
a little brown sugar for decoration

How to prepare 3-ingredient peanut butter cookies
- Mix all ingredients, except the brown sugar. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
- From the dough, shape balls the size of ping-pong balls and place them on a baking tray covered with parchment paper, spaced apart from each other.
- With a fork, press the balls to flatten them into discs and then press with the fork in the opposite direction to create a crosshatch pattern on the cookies. Dip the fork in water after shaping each cookie.
- Sprinkle brown sugar on top and bake at 160°C (320°F) for 20 minutes. The cookies will be a bit soft when done, let them cool on the tray and then transfer to a plate, they will harden after cooling. Store in a bag.
