Recipe: Avocado Salad with Smoked Salmon

Our lunch today. Very tasty and as I said... with a little bit of everything. This is a combination very dear to me, at least once a week I turn to it, especially for lunch. This is one of my definitions for "comfort food". You'll find serving suggestions at the end....

Ingredients

1/2 avocado
1 small white onion (about 30g)
1/2 tablespoon rice vinegar
1 tablespoon olive oil
50g smoked salmon
1 sprig dill
salt, black pepper

How to prepare avocado salad with smoked salmon

  1. Dice the onion into small cubes. Sprinkle salt on it and let it sit for 5 minutes. Add the vinegar, mix well and let it sit for another 10 minutes.
  2. Add the avocado cut into cubes, chopped dill, freshly ground black pepper and the oil. Mix.
  3. Add the salmon cut into cubes or torn into pieces.
  4. Serve immediately. For lunch with sesame rice (100g / serving). For breakfast with a boiled egg (you can also add a few cherry tomatoes) or with a slice of dark bread with seeds.
