Green Tea with Ginger and Lemon

Ingredients
20g fresh ginger
1/2 lemon
1 green tea bag (or 1 teaspoon loose green tea)
1 cinnamon stick
honey
Servings: 1 cup of tea
How to prepare green tea with ginger and lemon
- Cut the lemon zest with a vegetable peeler, avoiding the white pith as much as possible. Peel the ginger and slice it.
- Put the lemon zest and ginger in a small pot with 1 1/2 cups of water. Boil for 15 minutes.
- Strain the ginger-lemon tea into a cup containing the green tea and cinnamon stick. Let it steep for 3 minutes. Remove and discard the green tea bag.
- Sweeten the tea to taste with honey and serve warm.
