Mexican Spice Blend
It's like our "poultry seasoning" but made to the taste of the Mexican aunt 😊. Obviously, they use dried hot peppers and not chili from a packet, but as we all know, we're in Romania and we adapt to what we have around the house 😉.
Ingredients
2 teaspoons sweet paprika
2 teaspoons chili powder
2 teaspoons dried oregano
2 teaspoons granulated/powdered garlic
1 teaspoon ground cumin
How to prepare mexican spice blend
- Mix all ingredients in a coffee grinder. Store in a closed jar.
- This is the base seasoning in Mexican dishes (refried beans, Spanish rice, enchiladas, etc.)
