New Potatoes with Sorrel

Ingredients

500g new potatoes
100g sorrel
2 tablespoons oil
1 small cube butter (optional)
1-2 sprigs dill
salt, black pepper

How to prepare new potatoes with sorrel

  1. Cut the new potatoes (peeled or scrubbed with a rough sponge) into cubes and boil in salted water.
  2. Remove the stems from the sorrel, wash, and cut into pieces.
  3. Heat the oil and butter in a pan. When hot, add the sorrel. Sauté quickly until it wilts (about 30 seconds).
  4. Add the drained potatoes and sauté together for another minute. Season with salt, ground black pepper, and chopped dill. Enjoy!
