Ingredients
500g new potatoes
100g sorrel
2 tablespoons oil
1 small cube butter (optional)
1-2 sprigs dill
salt, black pepper
How to prepare new potatoes with sorrel
- Cut the new potatoes (peeled or scrubbed with a rough sponge) into cubes and boil in salted water.
- Remove the stems from the sorrel, wash, and cut into pieces.
- Heat the oil and butter in a pan. When hot, add the sorrel. Sauté quickly until it wilts (about 30 seconds).
- Add the drained potatoes and sauté together for another minute. Season with salt, ground black pepper, and chopped dill. Enjoy!
