Piri-Piri Chicken
Ingredients
6-8 chicken drumsticks
6-8 tablespoons piri-piri sauce
1/2 lemon
2-3 tablespoons oil
Piri-Piri Seasoning
1 teaspoon sweet paprika
1 teaspoon granulated garlic
1 teaspoon dried onion flakes
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon ginger powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon chili
How to prepare piri-piri chicken
- Grind all the seasoning ingredients in a spice grinder.
- Add the oil and lemon juice. Mix well.
- Pour the seasoning over the drumsticks and massage well. If you have time, let them marinate for a few hours.
- Bake the drumsticks in the oven at 220°C for about 45 minutes, until perfectly cooked.
- Remove the drumsticks into a bowl and pour the piri-piri sauce over them. Toss until they are coated with sauce.
- Serve immediately while hot. The sauce that forms at the bottom of the bowl from mixing the chicken juices with the piri-piri sauce is delicious.
