Piri-Piri Chicken

Ingredients

6-8 chicken drumsticks
6-8 tablespoons piri-piri sauce
1/2 lemon
2-3 tablespoons oil

Piri-Piri Seasoning

1 teaspoon sweet paprika
1 teaspoon granulated garlic
1 teaspoon dried onion flakes
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon ginger powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon chili

How to prepare piri-piri chicken

  1. Grind all the seasoning ingredients in a spice grinder.
  2. Add the oil and lemon juice. Mix well.
  3. Pour the seasoning over the drumsticks and massage well. If you have time, let them marinate for a few hours.
  4. Bake the drumsticks in the oven at 220°C for about 45 minutes, until perfectly cooked.
  5. Remove the drumsticks into a bowl and pour the piri-piri sauce over them. Toss until they are coated with sauce.
  6. Serve immediately while hot. The sauce that forms at the bottom of the bowl from mixing the chicken juices with the piri-piri sauce is delicious.
