Cheese Spread with Sardines

This is a diet-friendly version of fish roe salad. It's at least as tasty and fluffy but prepares much faster. And it's full of Omega-3 😉
Ingredients
200 g fresh cottage cheese
1 heaping tablespoon sour cream (or yogurt)
1 can sardine fillets in oil (100 g)
1/2 onion
1/4 bunch parsley
1 tablespoon lemon juice
a little chili (or 1 tip of a teaspoon harissa)
salt, pepper
How to prepare cheese spread with sardines
- Put in the blender the cottage cheese, sour cream, drained sardines, lemon juice, chopped onion, and parsley. Season to taste with salt, pepper, and chili.
* tip: instead of buying cottage cheese and sour cream separately, you can use a container of Fagaras cheese - it has exactly the right consistency for this recipe. - Blend well until everything becomes a fluffy spread.
- Serve on bread.
