Recipe: Yogurt with Apples, Beetroot and Walnuts

When making beetroot salad, set aside a little cooked beetroot for this yogurt bowl, you'll see how good it is.

Ingredients

4 Greek yogurts, 150g each
100-150g cooked beetroot
100g apple (1 larger apple is enough)
1.5 tablespoons honey + 4 teaspoons honey
1/2 lemon
100g walnuts
ground cinnamon

How to prepare yogurt with apples, beetroot and walnuts

  1. Lightly toast the walnuts at 170C for 10 minutes. Then rub them between your fingers to remove the skins from the kernels.
  2. In a bowl, mix the grated beetroot and apple with 1.5 tablespoons of honey and the juice from 1/2 lemon (2 tablespoons).
  3. Stir each yogurt well until it becomes creamy and spread in 4 bowls or deep plates.
  4. Place 1/4 of the beetroot and apple mixture in the center of each. Sprinkle with crushed or knife-chopped walnuts.
  5. Drizzle 1 teaspoon of honey in each bowl and then lightly dust with cinnamon.
